The witches are out and in full force. I couldn't be more excited for October to begin! I love this time of year but this October should be extra great for me. Welcome, baby girl! In some ways it's been a long time coming and in others I can't believe my "due month" is already here.

Circus 2012
I have been wanting to go to the circus for a good 3 or 4 years now. However, when the big-top has rolled into town it just hasn't worked out for me. This year Dave and I made it work.
The clown gave us 3 noses.... the 3rd one is for the baby. Oh, how cute! Turns out, Dave makes a really great clown.
The elephant painted a picture and nearly splashed us with the paint.
She is playing catch with the clown.
It's a baby!
Me, feeling like an elephant.
Circus 2012 was a success. It's a good thing because I don't think we will be going with a baby girl that isn't old enough to actually enjoy/remember it. We will more likely than not be sitting the next few years of The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus out. Unless of course we just join the circus, which is a possibility.

Peg People Mania
So, I'm not going to school right now and I quit my job about 2 months ago (it was too taxing on the bod) to focus my attention on growing my unborn baby girl. As it turns out, growing a baby girl takes next to no attention of my own during the day leaving me with a lot of time on my hands. What am I supposed to do with myself when I'm not following my mom around the house? Meet my 90 new great friends!
My mommy is a big fan and contributor to The Festival of Trees for Primary Children's Hospital. This year she is running her own committee and because she needed 10 volunteers I am naturally on it. It's a good thing because I love the festival and if I weren't apart of the committee I wouldn't know my 90 new friends. You see, I have to donate 10 items to the gift shop and I have chosen peg people (it really feels more like they have chosen me). That is how I find myself with a box of 90 peg people who greatly need my attention before they go on to the market.

These are the men of the nativity. Viewer discretion advised, they aren't dressed yet....
These lovely ladies are a color matching set for a deserving toddler. I really like them. I hope the child that ends up with them like them even just half as much as I do. I fully plan on buying them back from the gift shop (assuming I can afford them) for my baby girl.
This trio sports fabric dresses that are mod-podge on. I don't think this picture gives them the justice they deserve trust me they are smokin' hot in real life (in the cutest ways possible).
Not yet pictured, the many peg people that are still to come of course. Kamie, my sister, is brave enough to tackle the fine detail work that a trio of super heroes takes. They are looking fantastic but aren't complete yet so they will be added later. Also, I am working on a nativity set or two that aren't finished yet either. I'll add pictures as more peg people make it into the world.

Baby Shower Fun
Last week I had two baby showers thrown for me! The first was in Ephraim, given by my in-laws. The second was in Riverton, put on by my mom and sisters. Every day that goes by gets me closer and closer to labor and delivery and having baby showers and a room full of new gear is incredibly exciting for me. Unfortunately, I don't have a ton of pictures from either shower, but I'll work with what I've got.
Shower #1:
Shower #1:
My sister-in-law made this monkey on a diaper motorcycle for me. It's super cute and handy because it's built with very necessary supplies for baby girl. Awesome idea!
The decor was "rain shower" themed and rather fantastic.
Shower #2:
I really don't like pictures of myself right now, surprised? I don't mind my belly or the extra weight that gets to come on everywhere else. However, I don't hardly recognize my face and it drives me nuts! Oh, well.
My mom gave me these two outfits. I'm pretty sure Baby Girl is going to be wearing the smaller pink one to get her first pictures taken!
Diaper Trike from my aunt, can't have too many diapers!
My sister Kamie put this together for me (as well as many other gifts). It's not hard to see that I got totally spoiled.
I am so lucky and grateful to have such a great family that loves and supports me. I honestly don't know what I would do without them. Thanks everyone!

Shhhhh.... Cecret Lake
Actually, there is no secret about Cecret Lake, it's a rather popular hike and destination. It is a lot of fun and quite beautiful. I have been trying to take my prego exercising more seriously and Dave needed a break form the city to quote, "save his soul" so we drove up Little Cottonwood Canyon and set out on a little nature walk/ hike. I will admit the hike there was harder for me than I expected it to be but that is alright with me. I just move a lot slower. Once we were there it was worth it.
No, my butt is not on the ground.
Where is Dave.....?
Oh, there is the baby bump!

Summer Climbing Fun
I love to rock climb. Because I love to climb so much I just got to share with other people especially my best of friends (nieces and nephews). I sometimes get out climbed by newbies and that is A-O-K with me (most of the time, I am still competitive....). Dave and I took my sister's kids climbing at the climbing gym last winter but when our gym memberships expired with the cold weather we turned to the real rock. The youngest of the kid climbers is a total natural. They all climb plenty well but little El May has quite the knack for climbing and she seems to really enjoy it. All of the kids are fun to climb with and Dave especially hopes that they will enjoy it and climb forever. We are proud of our miniature climbing pals.
Brooke was on the camera so there aren't any pictures of her and I feel really bad for it. This her is her interpretation of a baby belly picture. I remember feeling so big this night because my harness had to go above or below the bump. Oh, if I only knew what was in store for me! The last time I put that harness on, 3 weeks ago, I couldn't tighten that strap at all.
Me and baby girl climbing together.
This little cutie will start climbing with us soon.
I had to include a picture of Brooke.
